Hey, we think pets deserve their peace, too! So for today, we’re going to focus on the custom pet station these homeowners designed from our Kittery project.

The trouble with taking your favorite furry friend to the beach is that they often come home with half the beach in their coat. After a long day of surf and sun, standing ankle-deep in water and clumps of wet fur while the aroma of wet dog lingers in the air isn’t exactly your idea of “rinsing off the day.” Knowing they would be enjoying many a beach day with their pup, the homeowners wanted to create a special station where all pet feeding and bathing could be handled without encroaching on their personal, “human” spaces. (I mean, you saw the primary bathroom… you get it!) We used Atlantic Salt to create the custom dog-washing station—with a mitered bench for the lucky dog washer—as well as flooring, countertop, and a backsplash carried up to the wall cabinetry.
