Main Area: Zen Kitchen

Last week, we introduced you to the Zen Kitchen project. This week, we’re getting into the nitty gritty details of the main attraction.

Featured Stones: Statuario Nuvo Caesarstone quartz; Himalayan Moon Caesarstone quartz

Applications: Kitchen perimeter; kitchen island

For the kitchen perimeter, these clients chose Statuario Nuvo Caesarstone quartz, using its dark gray veining to bring balance to the warmth found in both the cabinet finishes and flooring. Useful features like a spice drawer and paneled appliances prove that this kitchen can do both form and function with ease.

For the island, we leaned a bit more heavily on texture, using Caesarstone’s Himalayan Moon to create high movement while maintaining colors within the existing design. A slight curve to the breakfast bar seating area adds a unique flair and gives guests the chance to exchange glances over morning coffee, homework, and everything in between.
